Ok the console comes apart. the base of mine is damaged. What I want to know is if all gm g-body center consoles are universal. I know the designs are different but what about the base the part that connects the the car? Also since my car was a factory column shift, the whole piece of metal front the donor was machined screwed to my trans tunnel. What I want to know if there is suppose to be a support for the rear of the console. there are to unthreaded holes. Thanks.

I think the bases may be the same on the Cutlass, and Regals, but on the El Caminos, Malibus, and Monte Carlos they are all one piece consoles. Not sure about GP's though. There is supposed to be a bracket for the rear two bolts but I just layed the console to where it looks best in my car and put some machine screws down. No one is ever going to see the bolts anyways.
