So I recently purchased a 1984 Cutlass Supreme and the dummy that had the car before me got the bench seats newly reupholstered which sounds great... but now the seats don't lock in the up right position anymore and I have no Idea how the mechanism that was in there is supposed to look like. does anyone have a picture of what it looked like/know where I can get a replacement. All I know is a long spring with a 90 degree bend on one end and a hook on the other fell out of the back (not sure where it goes either..... also the armrest swivels all the way back (basically does a 180) and I'm not sure its supposed to do that either, if anyone can give me an hand that would be great.
