Flowmaster 40 series. Where do you live that you still have to run a catalytic converter on a G-Body? I've cut 'em off of every car I've ever had except my Avalanche.

3" pipes w/X-pipe and 40 series Flows on my '83 Cutlass

2.5" pipes (straight out the back) and 40 series Flows on my '85 Cutlass

2.5" pipes w/H-pipe and 40 series Flows on my '96 Caprice

I have magnaflows on my cutlass , they are quite at idle & I get compliment about the way the car sounds . But at WOT they sound like really long glasspacks .

I have Flowmaster Super 44's with 2.5" pipe and I couldn't be happpier.

I used to run Dynomax Bullets(think short Cherry Bomb), but my son thought it was too loud. So this time I got Magnaflows and am pretty happy with the sound. It's fairly quite at cruise speed but still sounds nasty when you stand on it.

I love the Magnaflows! They're are quiet at idle but ROAR when you get on it!
