Frank,
Thanks for posting the cool pics from Floyd Garrett's museum. I've always heard about his museum and the many cool muscle cars, etc. that he has on display. Infact, one of my neighbors has had his '68-'69 Shelby GT-500 Mustang stored and on display there for several years. He went back up there to pick up the car and brought it home.
I'd love to get up there one of these days.

I love that verdoro green 67 bird and the copo chevelle and 'maro!!

Pix were all took with the same phone/camera, so I don't know why some did not transfer to photobucket as the bigger ones did......
I only live maybe an hour (depending on tourist traffic) from this museum, and this is my first time going. Problem is, they close at 6pm, everyday, as far as I remember......it's always been hard for me to get there while it is open, but we did it this time!

I took more pix that didn't come out (wtf!), and there were more cars I didn't get pix of.......a plethora of beautiful, rare, cars.

yeah i went in there for the first time last month, that place is awesome!!

so crazy some of those cars haven't even been cranked, ever lol

Great collection and thanks for sharing. Museums like that must have constant issues with gummed up carbs, flat spotted tires, and leaking transmissions. I love the concept, but it also saddens me that a lot of places like that rarely or never drive those cars. My grandfather had a lot of cars ranging from 1908-1964 and the newer ones didnt like to sit much, and anytime he needed or wanted to drive one, it was a chore. The older ones didnt seem to bothered by sitting except for the tires that would lose air. Shut off the fuel to the carbs and let it run till it stalled, drain the tank and it was good to go. But the newer ones didnt have shut offs, so the carbs would gum up in a few months time. My carb has a shut off for just that reason

Thanks for the pics!!!!!!!!!!! Wish I was there 8)
