Well guys I've installed a ford 9in and I used my shocks and springs I had on my 10 bolt which was belltech 1in lowering springs and nitro drop shocks. Everything is fine except for my rear end is real bouncey now. Like it's really stiff like the shocks are maxed out it something. It even wheel hops during burnouts now. What you guys think.

what did you use for upper control arms on the ford 9 rear end ? you need to use adjustable control arms so you can adjust the pinion angle .as far as springs and shocks its all the same if anything. my bet is that your upper arms are binding up and not swinging correct .

Sorry for got to mention I do have adjustable up control arms and solid lowers I think brand is pure muscle. And I eyeballed the pinion angle. I know you want about 2 degrees correct.

Make sure the upper arms swing correct and not hitting the top of member frame . As for Pinon angle I need more info what you will use this car mostly for. There is all different angles for all kinds application.

NEGATIVE 2 degrees is a pretty safe bet no matter with bushed uppers/lowers. Make sure its negative though, not positive.

I drag race a lot and it's a weekend warrior. But yeah I know you want it 2 degrees towards the ground so when you drive it the drive train straightens out as much as possible.

Did you notch the upper ears on the housing. The 9" mounts sit higher so youll get interference with the upper arms and ears

Have any springs floating around?
