A buddy of mine is building a 383 Stroker, what rotating assembly should he use? I was under the impression that using a forged rotating assembly would work. with the NOS

what crank, rods, pistons and cam should he use??

You will need to used a forged stroker kit of you plan on using nitrous.......Check out enginekits.com They are a reputable company...they were featured in Super Chevy last year...YOu can get a really nice forged kit from them for a decent price. I bought my kit from RaceParts, E-Bay store, out of California.. My kit is good for up 8,000 rpm and 800 hp Came with Hawk Fored crank and hawk H beam rods with Keith Black pistons.....Just dep[ends how much you want to spend is all...

I clicked your link and if thats the kit, your only talkin bout 55-75 hp not a big deal as long as you dont get to crazy. You (your buddy) should be fine with a forged set up, peoples biggest problem is not the nos itself but them gettin goin to far ie over revin the engine (will do very easily on nos) and or turning on to soon. In short you'll be fine with after market assy. setup ...

I also looked at that link............with such a small HP increase it's almost not worth doing at all.....If your gonna spend the $$$ for a forged kit...........you might as well go with at least a 150 shot ......only sayin 8)

Man Im glad u guys caught that. It was the wrong link. the set up im talkin about is 100-300hp shot. I apologize here it is
