I don't know exact year but it is in the 80s era with the SS paint. The thing is, i want to ask if it is for sale (in someones yard) and it has been there a while but from the road it looks alright. The thing is i'm wondering what it is worth (i know no pics) but i'm trying to find the going rate for one in decent not running condition so i will know what to expect to pay). Like a ruff estimate if you guys can help. Thanks

myself id start at 300.00,might get it for 500.00.but if the owner knows what hes got,hes gonna want all the money for it.to me its only worth a max of 1000.00.there were so many of them made, montes are easy to find.

Not a very realistic question given the information provided. It's like saying I saw a tan house yesterday and I like it. What should I pay for it? :-|

In the very least:

Is the car complete? Original? Rusty? Body or frame damage? Interior trashed or decent? Options? Has it been hacked up meaning things like heat or A/C removed?

Get a more complete assessment of the vehicle and you'll get more realistic opinions on value.

Depends where you live, around here there is a few but you don't see them everyday even in the summer.

I wish I could find more Monte's and Cutlass's in this town. The only other G-Bodies besides mine are a brown Malibu that appears to be a 4-Speed, a Bad*** El Camino on 18" IROCs, Two equally decayed Monte SS's and two GP's, both T-Tops, one arrow straight, the other dented all over.

There's no way to answer this question without seeing it. Then after seeing it you gotta count on the owner wanting to sell it.

An ss clone is worthless. If you see a real ss going for less than $1,500 there's probably something wrong with it like the frame or body is bent from abuse maybe so don't even buy it. You can pretty much expect any car under $1,500 range to have a host of issues that will cost you at least hundreds of dollars to fix.
