Found out Friday I have breast cancer and it was caught very early.All started noticing a lump in my left breast and knew to see my doctor.Doctor saw it and had a biopsy done last week Thursday.Seen the doctor on Friday and my husband was with me.All I remember the doctor saying this: Lisa,you have breast cancer and very lucky,caught early.I teared up a little bit,my husband whom is the starting of my support system comforted me saying he still loves me and will be there for support.It has been tough and know I will have a great support system.Broke the news to my family today and they are going to be there for me.My kids,it hit them the hardest and know I am going to be around still.They are going to help out at times.See a cancer specialist on Wendsday.

Sorry to hear. My sister noticed a lump a couple weeks back, has a mammogram scheduled for tomorrow. As your doctor said, early detection is key. Best of luck to you.
My wife went through it about 4 years ago and is doing great. They did chemo first to shrink the tumor before surgery.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time! Great job not just skipping past getting it checked. Keep strong and keep faith. You will kick its butt!
I credit my mom a lot for it,we had the talk about when I turned 40.I do also have my yearly mammograms done as well
Update,seen the cancer specialist yesterday and start on the chemo to shrink the tumor first and then surgery.Husband was with me learning about it,good thing he is going to have me in his life.Have been married for 19 years which will be 20 next month.My support system has been growing big time
