Has anybody replaced their front brake lines from the proportional valve forward using bulk brake lines ? I don't really want to buy premade brake lines. Just looking for any tips? Thanks

yes thats how my shop does them and it would be done in most shops. premades usually still need adjusting anyway. it takes more time to make bulk line look straight but i do it all time when i do brake lines at work.

I always try to remove the old line in tact and bend the new line to match. What I also recommend is using coat hanger first to get the measured length of the line, cut the new line to match, flare the ends and then bend it. Its much easier to flare a straight piece of line than to wait till its already bent. Also, now would be a good time to flush the system of all the old fluid. Takes a bit of work, but well worth it.

I just replaced the rear lines now im doing the fronts its going pretty good. Its been a while since I replaced a brake line.
That coat hanger trick is a good idea. I was just using the old lines as a guide.
