I have a 79 GP, and time to do the front bumper filler. First, does anyone know what kind of adhesive is used to keep the stainless trim pieces on the fillers?
Also these are fiberglass fillers and I was wondering if anyone is familiar with gel coat. My car is white and these FB fillers have a nice glossy white gel coat. What are the pros and cons of not painting them. How durable is gelcoat? I know its used on boat fiberglass so I'm thinking about leaving them as is. Any advice is appreciated.
