I was curious if anyone on here had cheaper ideas for putting back on the lower front chrome that is between the bumper and the tire. I tried using those zip tie mounts and zip ties, but the plastic mounts didn't stay attached to the sticky pad.

I know eBay has the original clips for $40+ and I really don't want to spend over $15 on some clips that will work.

I took a clip from i think it was the door chrome(easy to find at junkyard) and used a small bolt with a locknut, the clip I mentioned already has a hole in it, and use the front quaterpanel hole. no drilling, lines up perfect, and seems more solid than before. might use semi permanent lock tight as well

That actually gave me an idea. I could just take some thick metal, drill a hole in it and use it just like that clip from the door chrome.

Thanks, I'll reply if it doesn't work.
