After lurking for a few years I figured I’d better post my current quest & see if anyone here could help.

Background: My ’78 Salon has an early 80’s LS nose with a broken RF marker lens.
It appears the early to mid-80’s Delta 88 and the custom Cruisers had this same lens.

I would like confirmation of this so I’m not searching for the wrong part and I need to verify the actual
year of my car's nose. I’m guessing an ’81 or ’82 but I’m not sure.
I have spent many hours and walked many miles in the wrecking yards, checked all the aftermarket
suppliers that I could find and have yet to score this elusive lens.

Any suggestions? Thanks, ET

The four-light front end like your car was on '81-'83 wagons and '81-'87 sedans.
The grille will usually tell you the exact year.

The Delta 88 and other B-body Olds lenses are larger.

I have this RH lens for sale off a 80 Cutlass, looks like the one in your pic.

Thanks Blake. That's the exact type of info I'm looking for!
You have probably saved me from collecting the wrong lens.

Jeff, let me measure my lens when I go home for lunch today
and I'll repost the results.

I have been looking for the lens for about 3 years and have
nearly gotten to the point of putting a '78 nose back on her.
Hate to do it...she looks so nice with this one.

In my area, nearly all of these cars have been crushed...
weight=money at todays scrap prices.

Thanks! ET
