What's everyone using for the front seat in their wagons? The original owner of my wagon changed it out with one from a g-body and I like it but just wondering what's out there that would fit. I like the thought of the split bench type with the arm rest in the center. Suggestions?

any gbody front seat will fit any gbody. going from bench to bucket needs some brackets, but thats it. installing other seatsh from other cars can work with minor mods, but youl have to use the "search" feature to find it.

I went from a 60/40 bench in my old Monte to buckets and it was a unbolt and bolt in process. Didn't need any brackets or anything mounted right to same locations.

I'm looking for done BMW or acura seats right now..something with side bolsters.

if your car came with a 60/40 bench seat, then it will have the brackets for the buckets because the 60/40 needs tracks to run on the inner channel. if your car came with a standard bench seat you will need to either make brackets or weld in factory inner channels. that way you can bolt up the factory seat bracket to the floor. if you look around ebay or even on here there are people that sell the brackets. as far as what seats you can you all depends on how much work you wanna do  you can almost make anything work. if you are looking for a nice style 60/40 the newer s10 have the arm rest and are pretty nice. If I ever do the swap I would chop off the head rest and get the seats covered just so the shape kinda matches the rest. hope this helps.

As fare as bucket seats go, Most GM seat will bolt up to your bench seat frames (you will need four).
I have used bucket seat from a1992 S10 and 86 and 90 Grand Am`s 77 Nova in my Malibu`s using four bench seat frames.
