I know there probably already a thread on this topic.I just put 1" drop springs in the rear of my 85 Cutlass. Now im doing the front,i was going to cut a coil out to see if that will lower the car to where I want. The car has a aluminum headed small block.Do you think its better to just buy front springs.I want to lower the Car because it looks like someone put big block springs in it and its way to high.Any suggestions would be great.Thanks...

installing a 1" drop spring one of these cars does almost nothing for lowering. The OEM springs in the car are already worn and sagged about .5 inch or so. I put 2" drop spindles on the front of my cutlass and then a few weeks later added the 1" drop springs and the 1" springs lowered the car minimal maybe .25 and inch. Hope this is helpful
