I can't get my fuel gauge to work on my regal with 5.3. I got quarter volt on the signal wire I only got a couple gallons in it and at first my gauge was on empty so I jumped the signal wire to the pink one on the dash and the gauge now jumps to way past full and stays there. If I move it back and apply power it just goes back there. Is my gauge bad? Or what
