Hi all,
So I'm finally back on the wagon restoring my 84 Regal after it sitting since 2005! So needless to say I have forgotten a great deal of what goes where and what was what when I removed it. Right now I am in the process of replacing the fuel tank. What i need to know is what wires attached to the tank for the gauge. I know there is one wire that is attached (but cut) on the existing sending unit and that's all I have to go on right now. Pretty sure any existing wiring has been cut back due to the extreme amount of work that was done under that car (should have just got a car that was in good shape!).
So long story short, how many wires attach to the sending unit and where do the go. Also is there master wiring diagrams for these cars available online. Would be nice to have.
My car also has the digital dash and the touch button HVAC controls. Does the HVAC switching of the vents operate on vacuum or electrical motor? Any links to that kind of information would be great too.
Thanks all in advance.
