Whenever i start up my Malibu 1980, the fuel gauge reads way less than what is in the tank, if I hit the dashboard it comes back to life again ans shows the correct amount. How much trouble am I in, in terms of fixing this? Im hoping i don't have to dig in to deep, the plastics are fragile :O is there a risk of breaking other stuff in the dash when repairing this?
