does anyone have any idea on what a mechanic would charge to change a fuel pump on a bone stock 307? I was wondering what flat rate guide would have as far as how long the job "should" take.

Basic fuel pump supplied by repair shop runas about $30 in my area and a little more for AC Delco, most shops would char ge about 1 hour for labor to do the install.

Just curious...why not do it yourself?...fuel pump replacement is pretty simply on the Olds engines. Just sayin...save yourself the cost of labor and gain the satisfaction of a job well done... 😀

Not on my car, mines got a sbc. Was trying to see if friend got a decent price to replace his...seemed a little high to me but from what I remember from my old cutlass I thought you had to remove air pump and front ac bracket to get to the pump, but I try to forget working on that car
