Hey all. This will not be your average post. I have a 54 Chevy truck which was clipped by a previous owner. I am trying to id the front clip as I would like to make performance upgrades etc. Can anyone ID this for me. I think its a G body but am not sure. Thanks in advance for your time and response!

Rick

It looks like g-body, but I think it might be s-10, which is VERY similar as brakes, ball joints, and spindles are the same. Some thing about the control arms looks different, but I will look at my car to verify tonight and get back to you.

If you get me the casting number off the steering box i can decode it that way.

It looks like an s10 from the control arms.

Based on the differences in my control arms to these, im gonna say its s-10
