I'm gonna put a bbc in a 78 2 door malibu organist a V6 car was wondering what all has to change to cram the big chevy in the car any help is appreciated

If you have only a heater, almost nothing has to be changed. If it's an A/C car, then tall valve covers on a BBC bump into the plenum. The small brake booster clears on the other side. Just need to move the engine mounts forward, the holes will already be there. On a typical Chevy clamshell-type mount, one of the three bolt holes does not get a bolt - this is how the OEM did it. Throttle cable will be short coming from a V6, and the radiator fan shroud will need to be replaced with a V8-style, if you go that route for cooling.
Plan on some heftier springs - I have heard Moog 5660, 5662, or 5664 with a quarter coil cut off gives a good stance.

Recommend new ball joints and maybe bushings if you don't know their history.

I will be totally rebuilding the front end not taking any chances will be removing the heat and a/c plan on using solid motor mounts what headers would be best to go with

I have Lemons Headers on my 565 BBC but other than those I have always used Hooker Super Comp BBC in a Gbody headers which fit without issues but others have used Abody Hookers headers with only a few dents and spots to grind to make them fit.

Ok awesome I sure appreciate it....how bout mother mounts besides being for a big block what is needed

I have always used Moroso solid engine mounts, SBC and BBC used the same mounts
Frame mount #62630 and engine mount #62515

You can also use the upper Chevy clamshell mount with a solid factory style lower mount like ones UMI sells

Or Trans Dapt sells them as kits with both

Appreciate the info I'll look into it......how bout springs because I'm sure I'll need different ones switching from a V6 to a big block
