My original 15" steel wheels do not fit over my rear disc calipers. They are 11.25" rotors that came with a Moser Engineering rear housing. It has big Ford bearings to eliminate the C clip but my rims have a big drop bead area.

I'm considering these but Gbodyparts.com has not responded to my request on the barrel size. Are they bigger than the 13" the original GN steel wheels measure?

Thanks for the pic Wyo. That does look bigger than 13 but can I bother you for how much bigger than 13?

The calipers fit under my 15" Centerline which measures 14" inside.

sorry my 1st pic was a bit tricky....the tape wasn't unfolded all the way and in the shadow....hope this is better....too bad not close...I'd just let you slap it on and see for sure...rim widens out at 2.5''

Your measuring is solid Wyo. You seem to have a better grip on how to measure than me.

It does seem like my caliper would not fit in the smaller drop bead area but it does look further away from the inner bead than my steel wheel.

Maybe I have to measure axle flange to caliper measurement.

I'm not against going to another brake set up. I really wanted to run the original wheels.
There was already disappointment when Moser said they can not put the GM flanges on my axle housing. I have a big Ford bearing to eliminate C clip and the brake offset is a popular 2.5". So many aftermarket brakes fit this set up.

So I guess another question is what disc brake kit fits under a GN steel wheel or a GN aluminum replica wheel.

Also not married to a 15x7, just know they fit. Why did you go with 8's?

to fit a wider tire more safe. I posted at turbobuicks and someone responded with some options. under brakes and suspension. Silver/Black over there
