G Body Spindles

i was watching a car show and a guy removed the factory spindles from a 78 monte carlo and replaced them with chevy s10 spindles because he said it would lift the car higher...TRUE or FALSE? how does it work is it hard to do?

I have heard of this before but I'm not so sure because the s-10's and the g bodies use the same part number for a 2" drop spindle
