Hello, I thought I just needed a wire from the button to the fuse panel apparently I was wrong. Does any one here have pix of the wiring? I got the release solenoid, load side wire from button to solenoid, That little bracket that was almost impossible to find, I got lots of wire but not sure its correct. I took a line side wire from a caprice classic and thought it would work. But when I double checked with another regal the wire just leads to the back of the fuse panel. Help please. Thanks

Thanks i found that online. I did find a connector with nothing connected. Don't know what its for. I think I was for the passenger side vanity mirror.

When I put one in the last G body . I had to run (I removed from Donor car) All wire for truck release. It must have been a dealer installed as it just plugged in BAck fuse box. But the car I put it in did not have wire to trunk. Was easy to run .

See thats what I wanted to know too. All the gm cars that I destroyed 😛 trying to locate the power wire just to find a simple wire that connects from the line side of the button to the fuse panel. Not in a g-body but in a larger b body I found a wire that connects from the button to one of those "accessory" plugs on the fuse panel( only this one had a much smaller button and the connector doesn't fit the larger button on the g-body). Thanks for the info

Thank God for the factory shop manual. to all those who want to add this feature all you need is the button, solenoid, and wire. The power source comes from a connector just above and behind the glove box lock. it has a brown wire and the connector is the same as the wire.
