Hello from Saskatch-atoon......err....Saskatchewan, Canada!....and yes we actually have cars here and not just snowmobiles....honest! ......anyways I am new to the G-body's but have always liked the style and looks since I was a wee lad. I was lucky enough and stumbled upon a numbers matching totally original 84 SS that was on it's way to the crushers. I saw it and offered the owner of the wrecking yard $700 and literally drove it away!! It was rusty behind the rear wheels and a dent on drivers side behind rear wheel well, but other than that, I cleaned it up, checked all the fluids and started using it as a daily driver. I have since replaced some rusty panels, put on some center lines I had on an old vette, and put a cheap paint job on so it was at least all one color! lol! right now it's one of those 20/20 cars.....it looks good from 20 ft away going 20 km's an hour!! since then it seems that everytime I go to look for a part for the car I stumble upon another car so I have another 85 Monte and picked up an 81 Regal as well. I will post pics on the thread soon but you can go to my albums and see some pics of it when I first saw it and as it has changed. Anyways, a great site you have hear and I look forward to learning more about these cars from everyone! Thanks for having me. 😀

Welcome Eh!

I'm a neighbour to the West. I live in Airdrie, AB just north of Calgary. Picked up a sweet 1980 Malibu Wagon this past weekend.

Welcome to the site!

Ah!...a fellow Canuk! Thanks for the welcome! I will try a test picture and see if I have understood the directions on how to post.....If it turns out, this is a picture of how I found it before I even touched it....
