I know that you can't change the oil pan or oil pump without lifting the motor up, but can you change the seals and oil pan gasket without undoing the motor mounts and the transmission? Thanks, Kyle
Im not sure about in a gbody. I did an oil pump on a 92 buick roadmaster wagon with a 350 and there was no way we could've gotten the pan out without jacking the motor up. Its not that hard to unbolt the mounts, just lift the weight off them, undo the nut, push the bolts through and you can jack it up without removing anything but the fan shroud. Just watch the hoses/lines make sure you arent bending anything and make sure you dont smash the distributor cap into the firewall. If your worried about it just mark the wires and pop the cap off. Good luck!
