I'm thinking by the lack of answers that I might get in trouble if I hook a battery up to the door to roll down the windows?

would it be safe to assume all the wires are power and I need to hook the ground to the door its an 85 elco

Thx for the diagram O.D.

Electrical really has my mind froze, the circuits all run through those wire to ground right. There are no ground wires listed so I'm thinking ground to the door frame and put power to one of the wires will make it a circuit? It will have a switch in between..??
Ya I'm a dumbass but if I can understand this 1 concept I think wiring will be a breeze.

Yes and no. IIRC using the existing harness will be tricky as both the switches need to be hooked up and be able to receive feedback from the other switch to operate the PS window. You are better to ground the door ( or the window motor ) to the neg terminal and hold a jumper wire directly to either terminal of the window motor ( one side will go up the other side down )

Take the blue and black wire on window motor. By supplying ground and power to those to wires will roll window up or down simply by reverse which one you ground and power. I do it all the time on spae doors wont hurt a thing.

Nice I'm good to go thx
