Glove box lock removal

If anyone wants to remove that lock for any reason. There is a small hole at the top if you can find something small enough to fit It should pop the lock out a little. Then put you key in and turn. The lock should fall out. It took me a while to figure this out cause I had the door removed. Icame close to just trying to break it off. 😛

Thanks for that tip. After owning my car for many years, I still couldn't figure out how that lock came out short of breaking it off. :?
