Im buying a GM Performance crate motor for my 83 Malibu wagon. Its going to have the AC compressor on the right side instead of the left since its got the serpentine belt setup. What do I do for AC lines ? Get the originals shortened or is there another way of doing this ? Maybe another model car with the hoses on the right ? Like a Cutlass ?

Your going to need a condenser that has the connections on the passenger side also. I used one for a 92 Firebird and a combo hose and liquid line from the same F-Body. I took the hose assembly to a AC shop here in PHX. and had them shorten the hoses to fit my El Camino.
