I recently ordered a copy of Original Documents from the Oldsmobile Division that details the plans for the 1985 model year 442 production....Not sure how many other 442 owners have them? I could probably scan them when I get a chance if there is much intrest.... The 3 pages are dated 7/19/84 and they are a internal document that was sent between various divisions of Oldsmobile...
The documents list....
*affected models
*date for 3 lead units to be completed
*content deleted from Salon model
*RPO codes for additional Options added to Salon pkg
*Additional content from w40, 84 Hurst olds
*Details on Paint Scheme & Decals
* & more details....

Most of the stuff featured in these Internal Documents is common knowledge among 442 owners with a few exceptions....I just thought it was Cool to see the document that sent this Classic vehicle into production after the fallOut between Hurst & Olds in 1984....

Very cool!
I'd be interested in buying a copy.
I have tons of Cars and Concepts documents I could copy and trade as well.

I am definitely interested in an article swap....Probably anything dealing with the 80s 442s would work for me...I will spend more than 4 seconds cramming the documents into the first box I see before shipping them out.... 😀
