I just found an old thread discussing Joe Hinds' G-body upgrade book.

One of the common laments (saw a few posts on that lately) was the dearth of GNX chassis information. I got a chance to watch the Black Air movie that someone uploaded to YouTube before the producer found out and pulled it. The last third of the movie was about the GNX, and had pictures of the chassis drawings showing the extra crossmember, panhard bar, torque arm, and aluminum differential cover that turns the G-body from a four-link to a three-link with transverse location. Given the endless laments about no GN axles, I am surprises nobody has come up with an aftermarket adapter kit to use 70's Camaro/Nova leaf spring axles. You'd have to weld on lower control arm brackets and spring perches from a 7.5, but a bolt-on cover that solves the upper control arm mounts on the cast center would be a giant step forward for the backyard fabber.
