i just installed my new speedo gears in my monte. while i was trying to get the drive gear clip off of the governor shaft i slipped and the governor weights springs and check balls fell off. :x i figured out how to put everything back together except for the springs. does the heavier weight spring go on the heavier weight or the lighter? i was stuck at the shop so i just guessed and set it with the heavier spring on the heavier weight and it seems to have firmed up my shift points. 😀 but i don't know if it will cause problems.
