thanks
I sold that white cutlass to a guy who was making it a race car. He let me keep all the stuff he wasnt going to need off of it. Unfortunately I didnt get the salon interior out of it. still trying to get it though! It was a great car but I fell into this grand national and ran out of room. That cutlass had a lot of rot around the 1/4 windows that I completely cut out and replaced. It came out really nice wish I would have taken pics of it.....just to prove that nothing is rusted too bad if you arent scared of doing the metal work but then again that is what I do for a living!

Looks great!! Nicely done.

But I have to ask........What was the reason for keeping the manifolds?

not trying to pull the wheels off the ground and trying to keep it quiet under the hood. Had this motor in my cutlass with headers and couldnt stand it leaking and the noise under the hood. manifolds are more reliable. Not worried about restriction because it is not a high HP motor. This 327 seems to work better off of more back pressure anyway.

beautiful work so far, fodo! 😛

very well done, i love how it's still the factory options but more than just that, very clean install and it looks great, keep up the good work and keep us up to date with the picture and informaiton!

The tuned port engines need back preasure for some reason to run right.

I went through the same thing when I did my swap years ago.

But I used the shorty headers and never ever had 1 leak from them.

Like I said b4, looks great.

Thanks guys
hopefully Ill start wrapping up the interior soon and get some pics up of that. The seats are gonna take me forever. They are original Lier Zeigler (sp?) seats for an 84 GN and the are very elaborate to cover. Getting there though!
