I have heard that grand nationals came with bigger brakes than other g bodies. I just bought a rear end out of a gn and I am getting ready to put it into my gp. Do these bigger brakes exist and is there anything that would prevent me from installing them on my gp. I have read that they do exist but the dudes at napa said they dont. Btw I am speaking specifically about the rear brakes.

Thanks All

There is no bigger setup the 7.5 and 8.5 10 bolt rears use the same break setup. But you could get alluminum drums and even that is used on fbody 7.5 all the same. The only thing that would give you a problem is drive shaft lenght the 8.5 housing is bigger so driveshaft will need to be shortened.
