Just wondering if anyone here has swapped a console from a mid '80s Grand Prix into a mid '80s Monte Carlo. If so, were there any fitment issues? Photos would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Are you thinking of going with a GP console in your Monte Carlo instead of the stock Chevy console?
I don't think there should be any fitment issues. I assume you'll probably need a taller shifter.

Thanks Jack. Yes, that's what I'm thinking about. Do you know if the Grand Prixs come from the factory with a taller shifter?
