Grand Prix emblem question

I noticed that some 81-87 Grand Prix's had the Grand Prix emblem located on the front bottom part of the door in addition to the front and rear emblem locations. Some Grand Prix's didn't . I saw this in different years Grand Prix dealer brochures. Was this only on the dealer brochures or were there certain year Grand Prix's that did not have the emblem on the lower front part of the door?

It varies, mine are on the lower doors and front grill, None on the rear. Even though I have
F41 on both front fenders I'am sure they were put there after the car was built.
