Hello all, wanted to get a little feedback on a set of factory gauges I pulled out of a wrecked mid 80s GP and see if they're especially useful to anyone.
I have a '78 Grand Am so I'm always scouring parts for that and other projects, and when a buddy called to tell me he was scrapping this car, I got there quick.
The gauges are white numerals on black faces and I got the big pod with the speedometer and tach as well as the smaller pod with the fuel, temp, volt and oil pressure gauges.
The tach has a 5K redline and it's the typical mid 85MPH speedo.
I have no way of confirming this, but my buddy tells me they all worked perfectly before the car was wrecked and he's always been straight with me in all the years I've known and done business with him.
They look to be in good condition with the only imperfection being a half inch crack in the plastic cover at the odometer reset pin hole. Other than that, the plastic is nice.
I'd love to put a factory tach in my GA but I also like the silver faced gauges I currently have and don't want to change to black.
These things useful to anyone?

PM sent.

Nitro,
Which Grand Am do you have?
Did you see the post about the reproduction turn lenses?

78 and 79 clusters have a Pontiac arrow head for the high beam indicator. 80 and up do not have the arrow head...
