The upholstery guy has had my car for the past two weeks. He works slow but he done a great job on the top and the custom headliner. I'll post some pictures of the top tomorrow

Here is some pictures of the top. Man still no love with 49 views lol

I like it. I don't know why so many prefer to remove the vinyl quarter tops on these cars. I think they look good on these cars. Let me ask when the vinyl top came off was their rust underneath that needed repair?

No. The original pad was still good and where where was cracks in the pad there was paint underneith and we just patched the cracks in the original pad. there was no rust around the quarter windows either. Ill post some pics if i have any in a few

The brown stuff is the old glue/meteral

Before the new vinyl

So if I understand correctly, you're gonna replace the old landau roof with a new top. I'm glad you decided to go this route as I think the vinyl roof really adds a touch of class to our cars. Also, I like how the brougham edition goes even further and actually wraps around the rear window making the window look smaller. It totally adds to the overall appearance of these cars so in my humble opinion if your going to all the trouble and expense of redoing the top, you should look at how the brougham top does it. Keep the pictures coming. 😀

I actually don't like the look of the brougham tops. I don't like the smaller rear window . but that's just me

The top looks good, I wish I had someplace in my area that could do them I would have had mine redone, instead I'm just rounding up all the trim to remove it
