Hi everyone!

Names Chris! I'm a 23 year old computer tech from Alberta,Canada who currently owns a 1983 Olds Delta 88 Coupe as a project (currently suffering from alternator issues)

I'm not super inclined mechanically by any means, however I'm trying to be over time.

Thank you for taking the time to read my intro, hopefully i can one day contribute as i continue to learn about car mechanics.

Hi Chris! Technically, the Delta 88 isn’t a G-Body, but there’s still a ton you can learn in this forum that will probably also apply.

The B-Body has a lot of mechanical similarities to the G-Body. Welcome!

Those were a great car, in many ways better than the G bodies but just too big. Our families 81 Delta 88 4 door was the best car our family ever owned. The Olds 307 is very reliable and I assume it has the Overdrive 2004R trans which should give it good highway mileage. Welcome and I am responding to your alternator thread.

May not be an A or G body but it has the right number of doors in my opinion. Welcome to the site.
