Hello!
I found this site as it was mentioned in a post on classicoldsmobile.com, I’m dabbling in buying a ’84 or -85 Cutlass Supreme similar to the ’85 my parents factory-ordered (and then donated in 2007/2008 after ~215k), so I’m keeping a close eye on the classifieds ... I’m not in any hurry, though, as I own my father’s ’67 Mustang (had it restored a few years ago), have only a 2-car garage and not looking to move, and like to keep my vehicles inside – I think of it as I have ample motivation to wait for the right one.
My family also had a ’85 Cutlass Ciera 4-door which my parents bought used in 1989 with ~90k miles … over the next 10 years everyone in the family (both my parents, both siblings, and me) at one time or the other exclusively drove that car, performed very well for us until ~204k I had to get rid of it because too much was breaking, final straw was the fuel line was leaking.
Some time ago I bought a dealer pricing guide and priced-out the two cars if brand-new, surprisingly the Ciera was more expensive as it was *loaded* while the Supreme was fairly standard
