well it had a good run, but after 30+ years of service the old 305 is done. it wasn't quite knocking but no load light throttle you could feel the rods starting to slap around. ive almost got it out, then its cleaning the bay and the 305 will go in the corner and await rebuilding for my s10. going to replace it with a vortec headed 355 built to drive. figured id take a couple pics
