I used a low buget version on my MCSS & Type T.. I found'em on Ebay for about $30 a set.. Doesn't require a relay & can be used with little modification..
i bought some housings off ebay and them things leaked when i would wash my car. Like water would get inside the housing. They werent the halo style but i am just sharing my experience. I know of a dude who sells hid kits but not sure if he has a halo style housing kit.

I haven't installed these yet but more than likely i'll run a thin bead of clear silicone between the glass and housing before i install them just because i've re-sealed a ton of aftermarket lights of my own and for others. Spend $80 altogether for the 4 housings with regular bulbs, they also have the halo and city lights. Along with a 5000k HID kit. Not sure if i'm going to use the HID kit with them yet.

you can make your own halo, get you some clear window blind rods(the thing you turn to open and close blinds) put them in the oven until the plastic get soft and bendable. wrap them around a soup can that is slightly larger that the projectors in your headlights. once they are cooled down and hard again cut like 1/8 of the ring away> on the ends that you cut drill a small hole on each end. get 2 led's which ever color you want your halo's to be and place them into the holes you drilled, tape them in place with electrical tape and run wires from the terminals on the leds. take a dremel and cut a lots of line into the plastic ring all the way around, but only on 1 side . the lines are what make the light relfect and creates the halo effect.run the wires in a complete circuit (to a 12 volt and ground) and install a simple on/off switch and there you go. ima try to find some pictures because :worthless:

p.s. halos wont look right unless you use projector lenses

Cool video. In my case, they're already installed around the perlimeter of the light housings and for $10 per housing including bulbs, can't go wrong. I doubt i'll use the halo as they're blue and the car is orange.
