Has anyone bought and used this HF flux core welder?
It has good reviews and does pretty good welds from what I have seen in Youtube videos.
I want to do some repairs at work, starting with some gate repairs and looking for something that is portable and only requires a 20 amp breaker for 110/115/120 volt.
This will not be for what I do on my cars, I have my Lincoln for that.

I used to have a century FC90 which is more or less what HF was copying with that model. It was super lightweight and compact and for the most part did everything I needed it to. It was more than enough for around the house repairs and inverter power produces a really smooth and stable arc.

I actually went with the Century FC90 since it is a Lincoln product and so is my gas welder.

Load it with name brand flux core wire.

That’s what I’ve been using for my car. Used it on the turbo system and coilover brackets.

Mine just died after 97 days; thankfully HF replaced it. Does a decent job for what it is. Will be upgrading soon, but this will be a good Race Week/Sick week backup.
