I never thought finding one that fits would be so hard, but it is. I have a 70 350 Olds and same year 350 trans. I am using a Holley carb. All that came with the trans is the part of the cable that connects to the trans and the rest was cut off. It's really hard to find what I need at parts stores since not many places carry them in stock and only have crappy pictures, if any, to go off of. I have tried to find one at a junkyard, but the one I found didn't work. It had the correct end I need, but the diameter of the pieces that goes in the trans and seals it was too small. Besides that, I believe the cable was short.

Here is a link with pic that has the correct piece that connects to the little metal rod in the trans that the cable operates. I don't know if it has the correct diameter piece to seal it in the trans. I have no idea if the carb end will work for me.

This link is for the transmission end that will not work. I already have a cable like that and it wouldn't slide on the metal rod in the trans.

If anyone has a similar era trans as me and using a Holley carb and has a cable that actually works, can you try and find me a link? I have no idea what length I need, the style carb end I need, or what car to order one for. I don't know if they made any changes to the size of the hole the cable goes into on a 350 trans over the years either. I would get one for a 70 Cutlass, but they used cables that ran off the gas cable.

Someone please help! I do not want to go through 10 different cables before I find the right one!

Are you looking for the cable that goes to the carb or one that goes to the accelerator pedal like the 69-72 A-body cars? The one that goes to the carb is available here:

By the way, google "TH350 kickdown cable" and this is one of the first links that comes up.

By the way, that NAPA cable you posted is a throttle valve cable for a 200-4R, despite what the listing says.
