ok i have a haynes manual book 74through 88 and each year has different ignition timing degrees, spark gap, slow idle, fast idle ect. so as far as tuning to what the book states, which year would be best to go by.. for tuning my motor i'm going blind with as far as what it was rebuilt with, only thing i know it's 68 block stock intake which i'll be switching out to either 70's manifold or edelbrock, and looking for rochester qjet on ebay older one.. so would i set it to 74 specs in the book? i just started looking over on it and saw the difference's from the years
