I know, I know, putting a sbc in a olds is sacrilegious , but I found a good deal on a 350 with 330 hp and I planning to drop it in my cutlass. My cutlass is an '84, will headers for a '84 Monte Carlo work? Do I have clearance for long tube headers?

What kind of finish on the headers? Ceramic, Stainless, Painted, Chrome? I was thinking about using exhaust wrap, If I do, will it matter what kind of finish?

Go with ceramic coating. I'd stay away from wrapping them-it just looks nasty after a few miles on the road-not to mention when it gets wet it really starts to look bad. It's a pain to put on-you'll be picking fiberglass out of your fingers for days.

If you wrap them then obviously you dont need to spend money on a high dollar coating. If you do wrap them, get a good wrap and the metal ties to hold it in place. Also, keep the wrap clean, they will burn if they get oil or gas on them. And by burn I mean catch on fire.
