Headers and Duals for a 86 442

Hello, new member to GBodyForum. Have a 1986 442 and in the process of doing a mild restoration. I NEED to eliminate the existing exhaust manifolds and cheater duals.

Anyone has advise on what headers to install, H or X pipe, crossmember, mufflers...did you eliminate the O2 sensor?

I got headers on my 85 442 and still running it with the computer.. I also still running the o2 sensor but it has to be installed on the pipe not the headers ...

Thanks for the info! did you install the headers yourself? were they a PITA? What brand did you go with...Hedman, Hooker? did you buy and H pipe or did you have the pipes custom made?
