Hi all,
Have an 85 Elky with a 350 that I am looking to get rid of the smog plumbing on and install some headers. I am looking for some that are ceramic/thermal coated without spending a fortune. Hookers= 700 bucks! No way!
Going to be redoing my exhaust so they can be shortys, mid or full length, I'm not picky. Can anyone recommend a good brand with good fit, coating won't peel in a month and won't break the bank?

Any advice is appreciated!

I got mine at advance auto parts online. Ceramic coated full lenth...discount code p20 with free shipping..249 delivered. fit was excellant.

What brand headers are they? That's a good price for long tube coated headers. I've heard some brands need some clearance tweaking.
I don't see Dynamax headers anymore. Are they no longer being made? They were definitely one of the better fitting brands out there...for street headers, that is.

they are flowtech.. i have all new motor mounts great fit easy install.. just installed them will see how they hold up.

i have a set off hookers forsale. they are 1 5/8 primaries. i cant run them had to get larger primaries. they were only ran on the dyno.
