help is needed ,i was looking at headers for my cutlass.i called flow tech on the headers part number 11104flt .they told me that the headers will not fit my car becase my cutlassis a supreme. they said that the engine is off set to one side more and the fire wall is diffeent . i have never hear of this .

I can't tell you for sure, but that question has been posted before and I am pretty sure the answer is that it is BS. There are very minor differences between the early G-Bodys (technically A-bodys) and the later 83 and ups. None of them should impact your headers fitting. I would talk to a couple of other suppliers like Hedman and Hooker and see what they say. A Cutlass should be no different than any other G-Body.
What motor do you have? I am sure the chevy 305 in a Cutlass would mount exactly the same as it would in a Monte Carlo. Any other SBC would drop right in the same spot. Unless there is a difference with how the the Olds 307 mounts, I am not familiar with that one.

Yeah that is a bunch of bs jegs told me that about my jegster crossmember and it fit just fine if you have a olds v8 then u should look at what i bought they are hedman #500-58070 in jegs or if ur car has the sbc then take a look at these hedman #68601 give that a try man and let me know what you find!!!
called headman headers ,on my headers and they listed part number-68310. the header is a fullenght header for a sbc .they told me that the 78-87 are the same .the bs that jegs told me was wrong.the offset engine and fire wallis for a 70-72 cutlasswith the handling pacgae .
flowtechs are junk...the collectors are crosseyed.... the flanges leak... garbage....
heddman are a better choice...ultimately you want to use Hooker Super Competition headers..they have the best fit...and quality...only they are almost 400 bucks
