Headers w/out cutting the cat

Is there any way to have headers with true duals without cutting off the cat? I need a street legal setup.

Well if your putting new headers on your probably putting a whole new exhaust system on. So first install your headers. Then put on your cats next and then the rest of you exhaust system. Not to hard if you know what to do.

A little more info would be helpful here (type of car, year, engine, etc). Anyway, I see on your signature that you're in California. As far as I know, the rules regarding emisions there are pretty strict. You should check with the local authorities to see what is legal in the way of changing your exhaust system before you spend any money. The only CARB legal system available that I know of is the Edelbrock Tubular exhaust system. It comes with short headers, but still only goes through a single catalytic converter. As I said though, it is legal. There are low restriction converters available, as well as some good cat back exhaust systems. Just some food for thought. Hope this helps.

I don;t have headers but I went this way, had to pass emissions test in AZ
