anyone have any photos of their g-body with air and headers? Specifically a 350 chev. What I am looking for specifically is the mounting bracket. The one that bolted to the manifold won't work and either the new bracket I bought isnt right or I'm not seeing what I'm supposed to do with it. I'v been combing through the site but so far I've found nothing that shows this problem area. I know Somebody out there has to have a functional version of this set-up.
Thanks in advance.

85 cutlass, thank you those pictures are Exactly what I was looking for, however, it definately doesnt solve my problem. My dillema is that where the right side bolt is supposed to go on that bracket (right side of first head port) Your headers look like they come straight out for about 2 inches and then curve back, mine dont really come out much first they just start curving back right away. So where you've got that stud and spacer, I cant fit something that comes out like that. I can get a 1 1/4" stud in their, 1 1/2 is probly pushing it while 1 3/4" would be out of the question. So how screwed am I? Is this going to have to be a home-made dealy?

Well, there are so many bolts holding the brackets, you may be able to skip that one, and just use the other. If so, you could just cut off the unneeded leg so that it would clear. IIRC, I had to grind mine down to fit when it was installed on the Camaro I pulled it from which had different headers (Hooker Competition 3/4 length). You could also cut and weld your way to a solution, if the bolt is really needed. I would have to look at it to see if it is really needed or not.

After looking at it, I think it would be Ok to eliminate the rear bolt hole.

You were right, the bracket was just fine without that other bolt hole. She's all back together now and LOUD. It goes for stainless tommorow 8) 😀
